Nepal’s Koshi Province to push for development of tourism infrastructure


Hikmat Kumar Karki, chief minister of Koshi Province in Nepal, introduced that efforts are underway with regard to the development of tourism infrastructure throughout the space.

Karki made the announcement when he formally opened the three-day Eastern Travel Mart in Itahari on Sunday, ninth March.

He identified that tourism is one of the elemental pillars of financial prosperity and that the provincial authorities is giving this ample consideration.

Karki declared: “Economic prosperity and development are the utmost priority of the government and developmental initiatives were forwarded to relevant parties in a planned manner.”     

The minister likewise expressed readiness to work along with technical companions on the native degree in order that extra vacationer locations will be recognized so as to increase arrivals into Koshi Province.

An occasion to promote the area

The Eastern Travel Mart in Itahari is an annual occasion that seeks to increase visibility of Koshi Province and surrounding areas to a wider journey and tourism group.

According to occasion organising secretary Basudev Baral, this 12 months’s Mart welcomed overseas travellers from India, Bhutan, and Bangladesh, some of whom shall be taken on a familiarisation tour of the province.
